The 39th Annual Russian River Watershed Cleanup
Steelhead Beach, Forestville Site
Be part of one of the biggest environmental volunteer events in Sonoma County! Each year, hundreds of volunteers come together to protect our beloved Russian River before the winter rains carry litter to the ocean.
📝 Event Details:
🗓️ Date: Saturday, September 20th, 2025
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
📍 Location: Steelhead Beach, Forestville (off River Road)
🎁 Volunteer Perk: Free gift for all participants!
We’ll meet in the main Steelhead Beach parking lot. From there, volunteers can choose from a variety of walking routes based on where trash is most concentrated.
What’s Provided: Gloves, Trash grabbers, Bags, Free daily parking pass (available at check-in — just display it on your dashboard), A thank-you gift for your time and impact!
Why it matters: We know that 80% of ocean trash starts on land. Your cleanup helps protect wildlife and stop pollution before it flows downstream during the wet months. We can’t wait to clean up with you!
