🌍 Join Russian Riverkeeper and the City of Santa Rosa for our 3rd Saturday Santa Rosa Creek Cleanup in celebration of Zero Waste Week! 🌍

📅 Event Details:
🗓 When: The third Saturday of every month- October 18th, 10:00 AM
📍 Where: Meet at the corner of Orange and Hazel Street at Olive Park (106 Orange Street)

Help keep this Russian River tributary clean year-round! This monthly cleanup is a great way to give back to nature, connect with fellow volunteers, and protect our watershed from litter and pollution.

 What to Expect:
Easy to medium-level cleanup—all are welcome! From the check-in location, volunteers will be able to choose various walking routes along the creek based on where the trash is.
All supplies provided—gloves, trash grabbers, and bags.
Weather permitting—check for email updates if conditions are uncertain.

🌊 Why It Matters:
Every cleanup helps prevent trash from polluting the Russian River and flowing to the ocean. By volunteering, you’re making a real difference in keeping our local environment beautiful and thriving.

💚 Bonus: Meet like-minded community members, enjoy the fresh air, and make a lasting impact on our river and tributaries.

We recommend wearing sturdy shoes, long sleeves and a hat if sunny. Please bring a water bottle and any other personal items you might need for a 2 hour cleanup. Contact Ariel Majorana with questions at- ariel@russianriverkeeper.org or (707) 684-9462.
